Hello Poirier Choir Families!
Our annual visit to Ayre Manor on Friday was a success! The students sang beautifully and truly brightened the season for many residents. The seniors, including one who was 104, thanked us by singing to us at the end. Such a sweet moment! Thanks to the many parents who were able to attend, and to those who helped on the bus.
For those students who have indicated they can attend, we are set to perform at Journey’s band and strings concert on Wednesday, Dec 16th. Parents are required to remain during the performance. Please arrive between 7-7:15, and meet and sign in at the Multi-purpose room beside the gym. The concert begins at 7:30 pm.
The concert should last until approximately 8:30. Families are encouraged to stay for the duration of the concert if possible. This is a great opportunity to have our elementary kids see what the middle school music program is all about. If your child is leaving early, please let Mme Arts, Mme Beattie or Mrs. Miller know. The choir will gather for sign out in the multi purpose room after the show.
Huge thanks to our wonderful accompanist, Laura Dowhy! We are fortunate to have her. 🙂
